I was wounding how many of you have water babies ?

The reason I'm wounding is that the other night my hubby was peeling spuds for tea and he had the tap dribbling to keep them clean and our Bootsie started playing with it he started out fairly tame just batting it and our Bazzie dose that nothing new there but by the time he had finished he was sopping wet he was sitting under it batting it letting it run all over him it was tooooooooo cute we thought it was a one off thing but now he askes for it to be put on for him he stands in the sink and meows at us it way to cute

They have always played with water we have a bowl on the kitchen table that they like to dip there paws in and Bazzie likes to play with the water when we are filling up the washing machine paws only though

It's to cute but I do find it a bit strange but he loves it so who cares lol

Our Sparkle loves water. She's our indoor/outdoor kitty and goes outside in the rain all the time, comes in SOAKED. Drinks from the tub tap while it drips on her head. When she was a kitten, she'd jump into the bath with our daughter!

Aw that is cute!! I've never had a water-kitty. My Mom's cat Olivia is half Maine-coon and has big tufts between her toes. She can't even stand a little water on them or she'll walk around shaking her paws as if it hurts or something!

My sil has to leave the faucet in her guest bathroom dripping so 'lil Bit can drink from it. He won't drink out of the water dish like the others.

Harley loves running water and prefers to drink water out of a sink (ie, bowl or pot filled in sink to let it soak) rather than the water bowl. I guess he likes flavored water? But whenever I start running water he comes running.

The worst one was Corky. She LOVED peering around the shower curtain when you were taking a shower. The funniest thing happened when she was about 6 or 7 months old. DH went in to take a shower, turned it on then decided to pee while the hot water kicked in. Corky heard the shower running and ran into the bathroom. Took a flying leap to what she thought was the closed toilet lid....and plop! DH couldn't stop he was laughing so hard! So, needless to say, I'm woken up at 6:30 in the morning and washing a very pissed off kitty with no coffee in my system. I was NOT a happy camper! But, I think it cured her of her fascination with the shower.

Kitters has just recently become a water-baby in the last year. She will let the water drench her head while she drinks from the bathroom sink. She's always loved very cold water & what is fresher & colder than water from the tap?
