As you know from another thread here, we will be switching to a new software platform soon.
I will be making an official announcement on Monday (or Tuesday at the most), with the launch date, and hopefully some screenshots for you all to see.
For now, just a couple of things.
We have a few of you as testers of a beta version of the site - an installation on a different URL, offsite. That is a limited version of the final product, and one we're using to tweak and test the system. Hence, why only a limited number of users were invited to share it - it cannot hold many more at this point.
I realize this is very exciting for you all - trust me, it's more than exciting for me too (and scary too!) However, I would so appreciate it if you could all wait just a little bit longer and not try to gain access to the sandbox version.
Those who do have access, please do not share on and please do not make any public announcements as to what may or may not be available. What you're seeing there is not necessarily what everyone will be seeing come launch date.
Remember, you people are the site. The platform is just that, a platform. Whatever changes we'll have, we will face them together, as a community and I promise you we'll keep our community spirit, no matter what!
