how many times a day is it normal for a cat to pee!!! I cleaned cynders box before i left for work around 7:30am this morning and just came home and he has not peed yet!!!! I am getting worried he might have a uti or could get one because he seems to hold it for sooo long everyday.. it can't be good to hold it for that long.. he seems to do this everyday, he will wait until i'm home and to clean the litter box,but sometimes its completly clean and he still doesn't go... Please help me and tell me if it is normal or not for him to do this...

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I have one that pees 6-7 times a day and one that pees twice a day, so I'm not sure what's normal!

It's like asking what is normal for a human - depends on the individual. A good example is Jack - when he comes in at night, he will hold it all in until he goes outside for the day while the usual housecats range from 3-8 times a day. There is no "normal", it is all individual, just like people.

I wouldn't worry. Some cats, and people, are just like that. As long as he pees at all and drinks a normal amount I wouldn't worry. I'm the same way as your cat - just pee once a day and i've never had any problems.
That he doesn't go during the day could be because he's not really relaxed when home alone. I have a couple of cats that will not touch their food bowls when I'm not home. Just keep watching him and maybe add some cranberry to his diet if you are worried.
ETA: One of the problems could be that he's not getting enough fluids. What does he eat? He may not be drinking enough. If he eats only dry he will need a lot more water than otherwise. You can try feeding him more wet food if you don't already and add some water to his food. You can also get some KMR and have him drink that to get some fluids in him. Most cats love that stuff.

My cat only goes once a day so I wouldn't worry.
