It's Friday afternoon. My dryer is acting up.
The company that serviced my washer right after we got it (a matching set) 2 years ago can't come till Tuesday afternoon.

I've been on a roll today. I scrubbed down both bathrooms and I was washing my favorite comforter when the dryer started up. Crazy thing has been running for a few seconds and then the cycle lights start flashing and it stops. It's also sticking in the cycle mode so even when I hit "cancel" it turns right back on to flashing.
I left it alone for a little bit and tried a different cycle and it dried the blanket. So I washed more clothing...same thing!
I finally got that load drying. I just have DD's clothes, 2 loads of towels (at least!) and some sheets to wash. At least now I have an excuse as to why stuff isn't done.

DH is at work so nothing he can do. Normally my Mother has my DD on Friday afternoons; but not this week. So she's either a half step behind me or getting into something. There's my excuse #2.

Of course we are almost out of towels. I can handle air dried undies... But not air-dried towels! This should be interesting!

For some unknown reason, appliances seem to always give you trouble on the weekends or on holidays. It's so frustrating. Hope you can get the problem resolved.

I might see if I can get DH to try that. The plug is in the back and they are front loaders on pedestals... No way I can reach! The litterbox is in that room and leaves a nice coat of dust I'll have to clean off too.

Part of me was glad they weren't like "We'll send someone right over!" because that would mean having to move the litterbox, clean the machines off and sweep real fast! Not to mention hide the laundry/toys and put REAL clothing on. hehe
