American Horror Story - theories and discussion - Page 2

I've read this interesting theory in a tumblr blog called littleahsthings.tumblr.com about Violet being dead and how would she help Tate if she was dead. Read what the blogger said:

1. She wouldn’t cross-over if she died in the house. That’s like a “house-rule” as I like to refer to it. She would become a ghost. I sense there is a possibility of crossing-over at somepoint, but the rule so far is that you die and become a ghost. Except for Constance’s husband- at least to our knowledge. Maybe if you’re buried off the grounds you can potentialy move on- I’m sure Tate is buried away from the house, so he CAN move on as Constance suggests, he just hasn’t. This also explains why Moira can’t.

2. We haven’t seen Violet leave the house since she attempted suicide (either the pills or the throat-slashing, there’s some debate over the “true” suicide attempt in the violet-is-a-ghost theories). She says she’s been sleeping a lot and that her parents think shes depressed, so she probably hasn’t left the house.

3. Tate doesn’t know that he’s dead so I feel like he wouldn’t know if she was already a ghost or if she had become a ghost during that episode, not being aware of that process since he can’t remember it happening in himself which leads to an interesting thought- we have yet to see anyone “become” a ghost (to our knowledge) We’ve seen them die but not how the actual becoming-a-ghost process works and what that looks like. Which is probably what is causing all this speculation.

I thought the same thing at first, but then I thought about Hayden being buried in the backyard, and she was only able to come back on Halloween.  I think that if you don't have any unfinished business or something of that nature you can move on and are not a "prisoner" of the house.  I do think your theory on Tate is interesting though.

That rubber suits gives me the creeps. Period.

I saw a commercial for Justified, coming back in January. I guess that means that AHS will be finished at the end of December.

Could somebody tell me how it ended? I confess I didn't watch it. I saw the first few minutes where Constance had the baby in her house and Ben had come over to take it back home. But that was it. I didn't realize it was the season finale. Just put it into spoiler context. Thank you.
