My cat had been having frequent bloody diarrhea and bad gas, so I switched to feeding grain free food, Blue Buffalo dry and canned. Her symptoms have been low or even gone days without any problems.

My cat loves the canned food but she eats it so quickly and is begging most of the day for more always following me to the food bowl meowing. I feed her 2 cans a day, and she is around 12-13 pounds so she could be ok losing a pound or two but having her feeling hungry most of the day isnt settling well with me I feel bad. The trouble is my parents are buying the cat food for me since I am currently on disability. The largest dry food bag lasts about 2-3 weeks (for both cats) and is around $30. The cans I need for twice a day for a week come out to $30 a week, my parents will not spend any more to buy extra canned food if 2 cans a day is not satisfying my cat. (my other cat refuses to eat canned food even though he has access to it, so its just my cat I have to worry about that with cans)

The trouble is my cat only nibbles a few kibble a day of the blue buffalo, she does not like it, only reason she eats it is because the dry and canned food are the only food I give her (with a few crunchy treats a day which dont bother her stomach in moderation but she devours them) Thats why she devours the canned food. I thought perhaps the canned food is such good quality, that she actually doesnt even need to eat any dry food, but she begs constantly for more food and she never did this on her "old" diet.

My other cat who hates canned food Loves the dry food and he does the same with dry food as my cat does with canned. He refuses to eat canned, and she refuses to eat dry.

I used to feed science diet dry food and friskies canned food which comes in larger quantities. both my cats loved those foods and happily ate them and my cat never begged all day like she does now, but my cat got diarrhea and gas from the foods so I had no choice but to switch.

I dont know what to do. Sure I could feed my cat the old food she loves and fills her up, but she will be sick from it. My other cat will do fine either way he isnt picky, but I like that he eats the "good" quality dry food, to make up for him never eating any canned food which I know is healthier for him. (he was in a shelter for 2 years and only fed low quality dry food and after having him for 6 years, only a few times has he ever drank some juice from canned food, but otherwise refuses to eat it)

Any suggestions, i'm literally having anxiety over this I have no idea what to do too bad my cat cant talk and tell me what she likes best.

I would feed both what is best for your trouble cat. The dry and the wet. Since wet is better anyways, it is no problem for your kitty to be on wet only. A high quality, protein rich wet will keep him fuller long. Just be sure to feed him more meals - 3 times is good.
Switch the dry for both to the one that makes neither sick, and you are off to a good run. Since one eats dry only, that one will be good, and the other can safely nibble on it as well.
