We've had nothing but rain here in FL the past few days. Haven't even left the house in 4 days and we're going stir-crazy. Another day of this and my husband and I might kill each other!!! (too much togetherness). Actually it's starting to clear today and we're expecting a "cold front". Don't laugh-it really does get sort of cool here. It'll be a welcome change from the hot weather we had. Friday morning is supposed to be in the 50's.

Send it north!! As long as the temps stay above freezing (we had flurries this morning, YIPE) we will be able to use it.

We're getting a good dumping of rain tonight/tomorrow. Then back to sunshine. Gonna be in the high 60s tomorrow, then down to 50's all week. Love it.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I seriously HATE the rain right now. It has thrown everything in a tail spin here. Our drive way is washed away atleast once a week and my yard is a flipping MESS. There are sections we cant get to to mow down because the zero turn and tractor cant mow in that type of swampy mess. Add all the run off from the higher fields and its just one giant swamp. Im beyond OVER this rain plus the flipping bugs..they are everywhere all kinds of them. Any other year we have zero bug issues but because of all this rain the chemicals they use for the fields and that we use to treat the yard are basically useless and got washed away.

No rain today!!! It is cool outside and just beautiful. First day out of the house --- went to Walmart and stocked up on all sorts of things. Got a great rubber mat to put the pet food bowls on. It has kind of a lip at the sides so that the food doesn't scatter all over the floor. Of course my brave Tony was afraid of it at first and wouldn't go to the food bowl. Then hunger got the best of him!!

Silly cats!

It ended up raining several times today.

The last one was REALLY cool. Sun was streaming in, but it sounded like it was raining. I looked out the front window - and it was POURING. I looked out the left side - and it was NOT raining. I looked out the right side (deck side) - and it was raining only on half the deck! It lasted for about two minutes.

I went to FL last December and it was freezing half the time. But they said it was an unusual cold front going on. Brrr. I hope next time I go I can enjoy the sun
