My entire brood has come down with treachea-bronchitis and I need advice

I was taking one of my cats over to my bf's place, he has four cats, three who have special needs, and for the first time in ten yrs my cat acquired a major virus..I'm not sure if he got it there but he's totally an inside cat as are all of my others. Not too long after he infected all my other cats. He's almost healed but the others are in the throes of the hacking coughs and cold like affliction. I'm running a literal infirmary now! Two cats are hit harder than my first boy, and one has compromised kidneys. Willie has always been thin, was born to a litter that had many health problems, has never gained weight and was born w smaller kidneys. His kidney enzymes are slightly high but w his weight loss over the last yr u would think they were higher. Now he has the bronchitis and is very sick. He's on baytril, saw the vet yesterday, weights seven lbs, onlylost two oz. Since last time he was there but today he's weak and looks awful. I'm mixing colostrom into syringes baby food..gerber..using echinaforce that a cat lady friend of mine mailed me and everyone's on baytril..I'm actually running out fast and this is only the second day. I have given sub q's to Willie, mccartney and one other. Willie had 150 ml yesterday at the vet, she said to continue that every other day but he looked so thin I gave him 100 today.

What else cani do for him? I was off work for a little while and going to go back tomorrow, now I'm thinking I should stay home and syringe him thru out the day.

Pleaseplease advise.

Thank u!!!

When I had bronchitis, the doctor gave me an Albuterol inhaler and it really helped. If he could breathe without pain maybe he would feel more like eating. Of course you'd need some kind of mask for a kitty inhaler. . .anyway, ask your vet if that would be a possibility.

Thank u willowy..I was shocked someone had replied..I was v eager to hear from someone. Willie is worse..isn't getting better...this new vet doesnt see bronchitis, longs are clear, and says he has some treachitis and a small bit of it is folding over..maybe that's why he keeps his mouth open. This is just awful. All In all this vet doesn't even know what's wrong w him and already sent him home! I was told this vet clinic was great! Even my bf is bewildered. He says he doesn't look good. I don't know what's going to happen now. No one has answers. We won't get bw till tomorrow!
