I'm down and out with some rather awful fevery throat bug -- doc said it could have been strep, but luckily I had some antibiotics on hand that I started taking Saturday -- and the boyfriend is acting like I have the plague.
He made me homemade chicken soup and brings me juice and water, but he's literally sleeping on our loveseat so he doesn't get sick. And he's 6'3.

Harvey's asleep on my leg and Crumb is watching over me from the shelf perch... and they can't resist my kisses! Ha!

My cat is just like a hot water bottle- warm and soothing when I'm not feeling well. Your cats are beautiful, by the way-especially Crumb.

Hope you feel better soon. I don't blame the boyfriend for sleeping elsewhere. But cats love you no matter what. Enjoy the snuggle.

AWW Feel better and how can you not with such wonderful, purring snugglers
. I was sick over the weekend, lots of "YUK" going around. My kitties kept my smiling and feeling great. Kitties are the best medicine when we are sick

Aww, feel better soon!

Cats are awesome at comfort, aren't they? Just the other day I was sobbing on my bed (long story) and McGee jumped up and laid down with his head next to mine. Every so often he would give me a bump and a trill.

Last night as I was falling asleep, I had McGee nestled in the crook of my arm and Cosette snuggled up by my hip. They must've been cold, too.
