when i moved into my two bedroom apartment, i had no idea it would soon become my cat's apartment. apparently, now i have to pay rent directly to him, and i have to sleep on the couch now.
Oh, my two have always been like that. I've started making the comments that it'd be nice if they'd scurry their little butts out and make some money to cover themselves.
I have a 2 story cat house. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining room, living room, den and back porch. Windows that almost come to the floor with cat perches in most. My king size bed becomes a mummy sleeping bag at night - how dare I try to toss and turn at night when they are all comfortably sleeping next to / on top of me!
My kitties house has 3 bedrooms on the main level. A huge living room and kitchen/dining area. The basement is almost like a little apartment. It has 2 bedrooms, a family room, half bath and kitchenette. I'm so grateful the cats share their house with me but I sure wish they'd hire someone to do the cleaning!
-my parents house which she moved away from, but still visits to keep things in order, (she has to drive to it though) and my sister's house which must be like a retirement cottage to her. She has almost unlimited access to a kitty door and the house is right across from a park. I only live two blocks away, but she hasn't been to my house yet. It would be cool if we could get her to travel here too. She would be soooo spoiled though.
Our kitties currently rent a mid-size two bedroom/two bath apartment, with much vertical space, which is their favorite. That must be what I have to pay $35 per month on cat rent to the apartment complex for.
My cats' house is two floors. 4 bedrooms, aliving room, a kitchen, a dining room, a rec room, a cat room, a bathroom, a laundry room and a furnace room!
The Horde has bragging rights to a two bedroom Cape Cod with a finished basement and a full walk-up attic, as well as a big fenced in yard that they get to play in while on leashes. The total square footage of all three floors combined is about 2500 sq ft. With all that room, you would think they'd find a place to stand other than right in front of me when I am trying to walk...
