We have a 6 week old kitten named Daisy. She was eating very well since we got her. She is still being bottle fed and about 2 days ago she began having diarrhea which is a cream color. She also has been acting like she needs to throw up but nothing comes out. She has since been refusing food. We have tried to give her water so that she doesn't get dehydrated but she just takes a few licks. She's active, still playing and looks like everything is fine but she won't eat! We tried to get her to eat regular wet food and she doesn't have any interest and we even mixed her milk with the wet food and she won't take it.

What can we do?

I think contact with a vet is in place. ASAP. Begin with phoning at least.

cont.:

You must perhaps forcefeed her. Or at least, giving her water by force. You know how to do it?
- but again: contact a vet before you forcefeed!
But continue you tries with giving her water/pedialyte.

I copy and paste an answer I gave earlier. Part of it may be useful for you, spec about the basic pedialyte:

"I hope you are keeping her warm? So she doesnt need to use her little energy for this... (although beware of too warm either).

If you can get goat milk, it is also good.

Dehydration is a danger, so good she drinks match. But I think even better would be if she can drink something nourishing instead of water.

A quicke booster of energy is a little of white caro syrup on the gum. I presume a little honey OK alternative. Or perhaps best - dextrose "grape sugar".
If you dont have nothing of this - common sugar may be used, but the others better.

If you give her water, you can mix a little of this above + some kitchen salt; it will be a basic pedialyte, giving also some electrolytes.

The basic recipe is: 1 soup spoon of dextrose or honey (or a little more if you wish), 1 tea-spoon of kitchen salt (or some other salt containing minerale-salts), mix into 1 litre of water. Cook up so it boils. Let it get cooler, about body temperature....

Dont spare too long, better make new portion."

Good luck!

You need to take a poop sample to the vet when you go. It sounds like Coccydia (sp?). Try and keep fluids into her, kittens can die quickly.
Good luck and let us know what the vet says.
