I'm stacias's mom. She joined this forum recently and encouraged me to join as well.
We (my husband and I) currently have 4 kitties. Our two "older" sister cats are Callie and Alli (they are 13 1/2 years young) and our two "younger" brother cats are Org and @ "At" (they just turned 2 years old). They were all rescue cats that we adopted from a local shelter.
Callie and Alli are standard short-haired (a tortie and an all white).
Org and @ clearly have a lot of Maine Coon in their blood line and they are med-long haired tabbies, Org is gray with black stripes and @ is brown with black stripes, @'s lines make the @ sign on his left shoulder - hence his name.
I am an active member on a ferret forum, as we are also currently owned by four ferrets; Org cannot seem to get over his immense curiosity, and I have to be close by to "rescue" him often. It can be extremely amusing to see a 1 lb ferret bring a 15 lb cat down. Good news is that she can't get past all of his fur to do any damage before I can once again "rescue" him.
We also have a garden pond with some Koi and goldfish, the local outdoor cats seem to enjoy drinking from it - I provide lots of hiding places for the fish to stay safe.
That's about it! I will have a look around and hope to contribute some.
