Homemade feeding station

Hello all,

I had to tear down my shed because we are getting a pool. So I placed a table in the corner so that the cats could still come and eat.
I felt bad that the weather kept ruining their food, and the birds would also take all their food.

So I went up to Lowes and got this 12 dollar storage container and cut an opening so that they could get their food, but keep it some what out of the weather.

Just so you know it wasn't easy to cut. It kept shattering, so I used a soldering iron and melted the opening out, now there are no jagged edges that the cats could get hurt on.

I'll post pictures of the cats using it..=^.^=

Great idea!!!! Yeah, the plastic sterilite containers are a real bear to cut, very tough. I use a very large bottom of a Vari dog kennel crate and turn it upside down. It just sits on the grass during the summer and I move it around a bit to keep the grass fresh underneath it. It works just great as a summer feeding station. I place a very large rock on top of it so it stays put and doesn't blow away during storms.
