Hope would have loved this (pic).....

Our long time members will probably remember or at least have heard about our old friend Hope (Hopehacker) who passed away unexpectedly over 2 years ago now. I know we've had threads in her honor at Christmas (decorating a tree she made) and also on the anniversary of her passing.

For those that don't remember her; Hope was a HUGE Paul Stanley fan. I mean HUGE. So anytime I see something KISS related I still think of Hope.

I saw this posted on Facebook today on a page I'm a fan of (this woman crochets dog clothing, it's so cute!) and I was like HOPE!!! I know it's not Paul Stanley's look; but it's still Kiss. I sent her a message and asked if I could share this picture here. She said yes and that she has no idea who the car belongs to. She just saw it when she was out with her husband.

We miss you Hope!!

That car is owned by a Denver classic rock radio station.
103.5 FM The Fox.

I no longer own an artcar, but I'm still in the art car loop with my fellow 'cartist' friends.

Oh cool! It's definitely recognizable! I don't think I ever paid attention to where the lady who posted it's shop is; but I just looked now and she is from Colorado!

I do miss Hope and her cheeky Paul Stanley posts, as well as her comments on life and cats in general. She was unique.

Thanks for the share! I always smile when I think of Hope, and I always think of her, like you, when I hear Kiss or see something Kiss related.

I used to lurk on TCS a lot as a guest before I joined as a member, I always remember seeing posts by Hopehacker, eventually they stopped. I always wondered why, when I joined TCS last year, I noticed rememberance threads and such in the name of Hopehacker, such as decorate Hope's tree. I'm sure she would have loved that picture! I'm like you. I can't look at pictures of KISS, or hear their music without thinking about Hope. I didn't know her well, but she sure left a mark.
