Myles, my sweet baby kitten, died suddenly yesterday, Sunday October 9th. He was just over two months old. He was born July 25th, and we just adopted him on September 30th. The day before we adopted him, he has a vet check up just on September 29th and everything was fine.

He was such a sweet, sweet boy and I am absolutely devastated. He was so soft and cuddly and always so happy. Whenever I came home, the first thing I did was pick him up and give him lots of cuddles. The vet said it was from the sudden onset of a virus, which has been dormant, which is why it wasn't noticed during his vet check the week before.

On Saturday night we went to my friends house and stayed the evening. I didn't want to go because Mr Myles was still so little, but my boyfriend assured me it would be OK. When we got home in the early morning, I went to find my sweet baby and give him some cuddles like always, and when I walked into the living room there he was, lying dead on the floor. I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for leaving for the night, I keep thinking what would have happened if I just stayed home. Although the vet said there was nothing that could have been done either way, I am completely crushed. Although he was only in my life for just over a week, he was my sweet boy and I will miss him forever. I feel like my heart broke into a million pieces when I went to pick him up and realize he was no longer there I keep picturing it in my mind and just break down. I hope he is happy wherever he is, and is getting to have some cuddles in his favorite black paw print blanket. RIP my sweet baby boy, mama loves you. xox

I'm not to good with computers, so I was unable to get pictures to work, but he was the sweet fuzzy grey kitten, a ragg/persian mix.

I am so sorry - I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that your Myles couldn't have been more loved and cared for. He knew you loved him.
