It's been one week today.
In some ways things have softened as I'm not a sobbing mess. But in other ways the sadness is just as bad... I just feel kind of empty like I'm just going through the motions.
My other cat seems to be noticing the difference now. At first not so much (though he was sleeping in Chewy's bed); now he just seems restless and unsettled.
I think all this is amplified by the fact I just moved to a new city and I'm far from all my friends and family. Nobody here at all.
<sigh>

It's hard enough to lose a beloved pet when you're surrounded by family and friends. My condolences.

It's been a year since I lost my little guy.

We all miss him so much.

My thoughts are with all of you who've lost friends recently. The sadness does settle, but we never forget them.

xoxo
