Growing up I had two cats & a dog before Pumpkin, but I never really "got" the connection that a person can have with a cat until him. He was a barn kitten out at my aunt's farm and came home in June 1999 (I was 11). He is impossibly mellow and loves to be slung like a baby over my shoulder - if I try to put him down before he's done with loving me, he will dig in and refuse! And best of all, he's orange! Here are a few recent pictures of my main man.

In a box with his sister Princess:

Taken today:

And... possibly the best picture I have ever taken in my lifetime:

Two bonus pictures! My other sweet boys are well on their way to being seven months old, and Joni is just over five months. Here's a kitty pile for ya!

And Garfunkel being crazy & cute (as always!):

Hope you enjoyed!

Pumpkin is a very handsome man! He does look really mellow.

Gorgeous pictures! I love the name Pumpkin, too. Rick found a kitten one day at work and brought him home. He was Da Pumpkin-Boy (Pumpkin for short) and he stole my heart. We were blessed with him for three years before we had to have him put to sleep. There will always be a place in my heart for orange boys.
