Henry crossed onto the Rainbow Bridge on 9-24-11. He was 6 months old and a joy to have. He was taken very early from us, but we will never forget him. I will share his story to give knowledge and strength to the kitty community about FIP in his name. Our sweet Henry we will meet you again someday.

Awwwww. I'm so sorry. What a sweet picture this is of your sweet kitty. I lost a cat to FIP.... a horrible disease.

It looks like you gave him a wonderful, loving home for his short life here on earth.

RIP, little angel.

Awww....so so so sorry about Henry...he does remind me of the kitten we lost to FIP right after he turned 6 months old...Smudge.

Interesting thing is...I have another Smudge now, that was named after my Smudge by his breeder. It was almost like Smudge led us to make that happen.

We picked up his ashes about 2 weeks ago. It feels better since he is back home. I opted to cremate him cause the ER Vet was just going to wrap him up in plastic wrap and hand him to us. so I paid more but I got my kitty back with out a more horrible ordeal. He is home. WE have a shelf for him with a kitty statue and a something with his name on it. We want to get a tree in memory of him, but funds are tight. The night we lost him we spent around $600 trying to find out what was wrong. and just sent our debt situation down the hole more. I truly miss him and cry every now and then thinking about him. He was a wonderful kitty and was taken too early from us. But with his passing I am now trying to bring a light to FIP in my community and my vet has helped me start a pamphlet to help the grieving.

Thank you everyone for the support!!! I will see my Henry again some day and we will play forever together.
