Neat- though you should probably put the warning at the top of your post for those that might be a bit spooked

I love your leopard gecko!

Your green bottle blue is simply gorgeous!
All of your Ts are.
I recently lost my girl (G.rosea) after 10 long years together, I have no idea how old she was when I got her, but definitely an adult.
We have a lot of wild Mojave browns around here, and its just about the season for the males to emerge and frantically look for a mate.

Hubby (no tarantula experience at all) thinks he wants a Goliath, but I think I've talked him into a GBB or a Mexican fireleg instead.

Would have appreciated a warning... I was expecting wrestling puppies or bunnies and got majorly freaked.
:

Spiders are just not okay with me. The scorpions I can deal with, but spiders...

However, more power to you for taking care of them!

Yeah I added the warning. Sorry about that.

I also tried to add the most colorful species to reduce fear. I guess it failed a bit. ^^

Thanks for the support

Gee thanks!

Wow a 10 year old G. Rosea! She lived her life that's for sure.

I started keeping arachnids in 2006. Hopefully my females also reach a double digit year mark.

Most of them I have since a sling.

I gave my Rosea to friend. I handle all sorts of arachnids, and the only tarantula that bit me was a G. Rosea. She is one psychotic mother i tell ya.

I'm not sure if I can recommend a Goliath Tarantula as as starter T. Aside from being aggressive, they are quite prone to death. Personally, I stopped keeping T;s with itchy uricating hairs. T. Blondi's are said to have one of the itchiest U-hairs. So I have to avoid that sp.

Im currently breeding GBB's. I got two females that are ready to pop anytime. If you like I can send a couple of slings for free. Then again I have to know first if it is legal?

That would be awesome!
I do miss having a T.

I'll check regs and get back to you.

they're beautiful! My dad brought home a few when I was a kid. Of course, we didn't have the knowledge on how to care for them and they died in weeks

Ahh well, while it was incredibly nice and generous of you to offer me some slings, it would just be too costly.

I am assuming you are in the Philippines, and while there are no laws prohibiting shipment to the states, the importation fees would be far too high.

Thank you though for the offer.

Nah, a couple of little spiders will not be that expensive. I'll see what I can do.

Then again, I still have them gravid and Im already counting eggs lol.

Wow, your Metallica looks nice! I'm a wee bit afraid of spiders too (in real life only, pics are alright!
) but you've got some nice pets!

When I was working to overcome my arachnaphobia, I thought that getting scorpions was the way to go.
Still arachnids, but differing enough from spiders that I could handle it, not!

I had a pair of black emperor scorps, and man did they creep me out!
I could hear them clawing the sides of their terrarium at night, I gave them to a friend that was really into them.

I bought my tarantula, and once I got used to her, she was one of the coolest pets I'd ever had.

I can say that now when I see spiders, I don't freak out, and it has saved many spider lives

WOW. How beautiful are those tarantulas!! The blue and yellow is stunning.

I wish I could have one, but my oldest DS would never sleep again.

I don't kill spiders or bugs that I find in my house, i manage to get them outside, but let me tell you, those pictures give me a major case of the heebie jeebies!! Spiders are definitely not my pet of choice.
I do have 2 corn snakes though, whom I love. Give me a snake any day!
