OMG I got a SS Gift ALREADY!!!! Received Thread 2011 - Page 3

I did a happy dance yesterday when I picked up the mail

 

I got a present, I got a present, I got a present hey hey hey hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

It's the most beautiful Advent calendar I've ever seen....it's from Roger's Chocolates in BC....address on the envelope was BC....is my Santa from BC??? 

Now do I use this Calendar like it's supposed to be used??  Or eat all the chocolates all at once, muahahahaha!

Well I couldn't wait so me and the boys each tried a piece and it is DELICIOUS!!!!

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, I am going to assume many more SS pressies will start arriving!

Have I mentioned I'm horrible at actually getting things done lately? (There are so many things to do in a new house & so little time to do it)

FINALLY - pics of the SS gift I got so far (I posted when it arrived)

Pink zebra duct tape! I'm gonna use it to seal up my dryer vent from the inside.

Oh how I needed too.... Today was such a stressful day! Dear (not so) Secret Santa - you made my day!!! I love love love the gifts, and so do my kitties

I LOVED my gifts and so did the kitties!!!
Bugsy could gone to the e-vet with a catnip overdose if there was such a thing, I swear - I didn't even have the time to remove the tags!
Lucky LOVES the little ball!! Balls with bells are her favorite gift
Miss gracie absolutely goes insane with a laser pen, so THANK YOU!!!!
And OMG - the journal is to die for, and I SO needed a new one for my business meetings in 2012 - I will carry it as a token of good luck!
Love the pendant, and even though I wear a gold necklace, I am wearing it, so I can think of my kitties wherever I go......
Oh, and thank you for not making me fat!

I am so glad you and your kitties liked the gifts!  The charm can also be put on a keychain...I wasn't sure if you wore necklaces with charms or not, so I got one with a slide big enough to add to a small keychain.  :)  Your cats are so beautiful!  I am glad they like the little pillows.  They are from the same company that makes the banana that your kitties have.  I bought an extra pillow for my cats to try and they love it so much, they growl over it!  LOL

 

You said that you liked to collect souviners - if you turn the little wooden cat over, he was hand made right here in my area - just a few counties over from me.  I found him at a craft show and since you said you like to decorate with woods...

 

It was a pleasure to shop for you - you were one of the first TCS-ers that I met and you were so supportive about Bear.  I was excited when I got your name.

Yep, that catnip is amazing - his bananas last for-e-ver....... until that it gets so nasty I have no choice but to toss it He got so Nuts last night! He was tossing, turning, flipping..... I mean, this boy went bezerk!
Did you see the picture of him giving head bumps to the kitty souvenir? Awwwww.... he got a little kitty sis!
And Lucky - that picture of her by the picture frame - yep - you guessed it - she was eating it Of course now it is in a very safe place
The pendant/charm.... I really want to wear it.... it's gorgeous, and very special to me I think I will just get either a silver bracelet for it

I got a PM to be expecting packages arriving in the mail! My SS is devious & is sending them from multiple locations.

I had 4 packages in my garage today, to my excitement! One wasn't an SS gift, but a gift from my home loan company.

So here they are - do I open them or do I wait? The first three of several it sounds like.

OPEN OPEN OPEN!!!!

 

FREE THE CHOCOLATE!

Oh wow.... Look at the loot.... You are being spoiled and so deserving of it.

1 now. IMMEDIATELY...

Then I would savor what you opened, post some pics......

Perhaps you should open just one. Whichever one looks like it might have chocolate in it

Then you can save the others until closer to Christmas.

BUT If the first one doesn't have chocolate, keep searching for it... its gotta be there somewhere, right?

I thought I had gotten something from my SS, the return address was marked out in white-out. I opened it, it was a package from the old owner of the house I'm living in, it's been six years and I still get her mail. She sent over some manuals, one for the pool pump, which I replaced and the reticulation, which also had to be replaced. It took us about 3 of the 6 years to get the house looking good, there was chipped paint etc. all around, even on the gutters, the roof leaked when the weather was stormy, she made it out as though she were rich, the house itself looked like.. a mansion. But there were so many things we had to change Sorry to hijack this thread!

Although.....I get the feeling my SS will be hard to determine who they are, so maybe I should open them to start guessing?
