OMG I got a SS Gift ALREADY!!!! Received Thread 2011 - Page 2

Got a super SS early surprise yesterday!

 

Don't know their identity (no return address or name) but that's ok, I'm deliberately not trying to figure it out just yet.  Want to leave that fun until Christmas gets a little closer! smile.gif

 

The package was marked on the outside as "Kitty Treats" and since my boys are definitely darkside, we opened it.  There was a package of Whiskas Temptations kitty treats that they love!  Also some "treats" for me as well.  A delicious bar of Cadbury Dark Chocolate which is already half gone, lol.  An adorable little Wile E. Coyote magnet that I've put on the fridge.  And this absolutely precious little zipper pull charm, silver, says "I heartpump.gif Cats".  Still deciding which jacket I want to put it on.

 

Thanks so much for the early surprise SS!  Definitely needed a pick-me-up and that did the trick :)

It said kitty treats on the package, and they are dark-siders so I had to open it, lol

Here is a photo of the box, I have covered up the addresses I couldnt find the selotape so had to use a plaster laughing02.gif Im pretty sure I know who my SS is so I hope you dont mind me waiting hyper.gif

I have put my SS box in a room I dont often go into, so its out of the way, out of temptation, but I went in there last night and hyper.gifseesaw.gif nearly 

but it is still safe for the moment .

I'm horrible about getting my mail from the mailbox! anon.gif  The worst part is that it's not like it's that far to walk.

 

I got a package today - inside is a card & gift for a new home owner - pink zebra (I think zebra?) stripe duck tape!!!!  biggrin.gif laughing02.gif

 

I just got home from work & have got to get to bed, have to work early tomorrow, but will try for pics tomorrow night.  

 

Thank you SS!  I was ironically going to go get supplies after work tomorrow, and that is one thing I need.  I have to tape some insulation/plastic over a few vents in my basement I'm not using & needed duck tape.  A mind reader, are we?

Pink zebra duct tape?!?!? That is just too funny!!! And how appropriate for a new home owner?

I know exactly what it is. Home Depot sells a bunch of colored duct tapes (I used to work there). My favorites were the tie dye and the leopardskin colors.

We don't have a Home Depot here but I would kill for some leopard print duct tape, hahahahaha next time I'm in the city, I am so going there!

most craft stores have a huge selection of printed ductape these days, you can even buy it in large sheets now!

That's pretty awesome! I have never seen printed duct tape anywhere around... and I have a Home Depot. Maybe I'm just not looking? dontknow.gif

So far I have gotten 3 cards from my Santa. Each of them are beautiful and came with a funky llama. I also go some clues. I will hopefully be able to post pictures of them tomorrow. Work has been insane the past couple days. I just wanted to make sure my Santa knew I got them and love them. :D
