Cat Grass / Raw Feeding / Constipation

Ritz loves cat grass, always has. In fact, today she ate it before she ate raw. She also doesn't seem as interested in the raw I give her (commercial raw). (I'll post a separate thread for this issue.)
I observed her having a BM; only a little came out and she rubbed her bottom on the carpet. Note that she has a history of doing this ever so often. Her anal glands tend not to express themselves. The last time her anal glands were expressed was in May 2011 and they were "full" according to the vet. The stools seemed normal themselves. She has tested negative for works twice since May 2011 (in connection with a UTI.)
So, two fold question: could the cat grass be causing constipation; could the change of diet this past two weeks ge a contributing factor. (Recovering Fancy Feast addict.) And any advice to reduce constipation?
Thanks a lot.

You are such a caring meowmy, you know that? :P

Cat grass should be fine, it basically is sort of like a soother for their stomach/helps them out when they've eaten fur/bone/whatever they can't digest; I can't really see it being the cause of constipation.

Changing diet does tend to cause weird poops, but this doesn't usually apply to switching to raw.

I don't have any advice for constipation though.

Oh, and you should be Happy that's she's not as interested in food. You wanted her to stop begging, remember!? :P

When I cleaned Ritz' litter box last night, I noticed BLOOD ON STOOL.
She had blood on stool (colitis/constipation diagnosis) in June 2011, concurrent, as it turned out, with a stress-induced UTI. (Tested negative twice for parasites/worms in June and July 2011.) She was prescribed Flagyl and I gave her some hairball supplement (helps with constipation).
Yeah, time to at least call the vet....
