....also known as BooBoo.

Rick was sitting at the table trying to read the newspaper. Boo was having none of that; he wanted attention and he wanted it now.

After we talked to him and caressed him and told him what a good boy he was, BooBoo jumped down and continued on his merry way.

You do NOT ignore Da Boo!

(And if you look closely at the bottom righthand corner, you will see the back of Tabby, who also has a thing with newspaper...she likes to hide under them and then stick her paw out at Rick when he tries to turn the page.)

Hey, I have one of those! If Holland wants attention she either crawls all over me like BooBoo or sits there and just... stares at me...

He is just hilarious....we cannot ignore him; he won't allow it. Once we do, he's happy and he walks away. He just needs to know that we love him.

Lots of love and scritches for BooBoo!
I don't think I've seen any posts of your 'elderly' crew before! It's really cute that he just needs his lovin and won't move along until he gets it!

Thanks guys....we think he's a special kitty, too. He (and his sister) will be 16 in February. My sister just loves him....she thinks he's such a "manly" kitty.

The older he's getting, the more cantankerous he's getting, too. He argues with us about everything.

I'm not getting enough food, Mom. (You're eating four times a day now, Boo!)

Mom, you didn't microwave the food! (Sorry, buddy, I lost track. Ok, it's in the microwave. Boo! It's heating as fast as it can!)

Mom, the litter box has poop in it (Well, we have seven cats now and I scoop twice a day. Deal with a poop log....there's only one. And it's small. Oh whatever. There, I took out the poop log. Happy now?)

Mom, the blanket isn't warm enough (Oh, stop.....it's on High; what more do you want? Lay down and go to sleep!)

And so on. Living with a geriatric BooBoo can be a challenge sometimes. There are always issues.

There was a post in the Lounge about men in white coats? This is why they'll show up at my house someday. Arguments with Boo. Honestly, that boy knows how to meow. And can he ever caterwaul! Rou-rou-rou-u-u-u-u!!

We don't get a lot of pictures of the Gang of Elders anymore because they spend a lot of their time eating and then napping. They're not really interested much in playing anymore.

I'll have to take some pictures of their next nip party. They all still like their nip.

Boo knows how to get attention. How can anyone read the paper when such a handsome kitty wants some love.
