Gmorning.

My question is simply:

Do you have your ears pierced, and if so, what do you normally wear in them?

I have mine pierced twice but rarely wear earrings in both sets normally wear dangly ones in the first set

Yes, mine are pierced, but I rarely wear anything in my lobes, only one hoop in my cartilage.

Yes, I almost always wear dangly earrings. My favorites right now are these HUGE gaudy ones.

I've had them done twice now with a gun and can never get them healed, no matter what the doctors give me or pharmacists....the infection is always so bad.

So I'm getting them done within the next few weeks with a needle

I have three in each ear but the cartilidge and third in the other ear I dont wear anything. I have pearl studs in my second piercing and small silver hoops I never take out because they were df's in my first piercing. When I can find really really small silver hoops for my cartilidge Ill wear something in it because anything else hurts while Im sleeping.

2 in the lobes. Rarely wear anything in the 2nd ones. Only wear the diamond studs Gary had made for me many years ago in the others. Will change to pearls depending upon what I have to wear dressing up for whatever occassion. Have very little jewelry, sold anything else of any value already.

Yes, I do. However for almost a year I do not wear any earnings in my home . Why you ask, it is one of the many "concessions" of Savannah cat ownership . Seriously, I am scared he would tear them out of my ears. It would not be malicious. He just will play with anything and when he wants something he takes it.

One piercing in each ear, although I'm thinking of getting a second. I tend to stay with earrings with hooks, simply because they're easier for me to put in my ears. I like dangly earrings for the most part, probably because you can see them easier...my hair tends to hide shorter earrings.

I do like wearing earrings. So far (*knock on wood*), the cats seem to leave them alone.

Keep knocking on that wood. LOL Ive woken up many a times to Gigi trying to bite my earrings out of my ears or my necklace off. I swear that cat is like a bird. Show her something shiney and glittery she cant take her eyes off it and has to have it. LOL

I did have two in each year, but the second one closed up. I was 16 when I originally pierced my ears. I rarely wear earrings though, since I have to wear a headset at work. Those make it very uncomfortable.

I have a set of earrings where I can change the stone to match my outfit. It came with a matching necklace that I can change too.

As for the cats, they don't bother with my necklaces or earrings, but Dusty tries to bite my wedding ring set.

Yep, 2 piercings in each lobe. Did the first ones myself in high school (ouch), but never had problems with them. Had the 2nd ones done over 25 years ago, and I still have to keep studs in them to keep the holes from closing. I usually wear something silvery/dangly in the first holes.

I wear tiny silver hoops in my cartelidge, and a silver threader through the next three down, my lobes only get earrings if I'm going out, and it's almost always something I've made.

I had 4 in each ear and cartilage, but haven't worn earrings in a long time. The first 3 and cartilage don't close up, but the fourth holes were only pierced for a couple months before I took them out so they might be closed.

yep 2 in each lobe... although I dont remember the last time I had earrings in the top hole... maybe I should put some in! I usually only wear earrings for special occasions.

I have two in each ear but rarely wear earrings. I don't like big heavy earrings, feel like they're always tugging on my ear all day long

Wouldn't mind having a small simple set of gold or silver hoop earrings though.

I have 3 piercings in each ear in the lobe and 2 at the top on one ear,all wear though is one pair of earrings that my nan gave me that she wore for over 30 years,she can't wear earrings anymore and I treasure hem.I also have some gorgeous earrings that my ss got me last year,I wear different earrings on special occasions but day to day I wear my nans.x

I have 8 ear piercings: 3 three in each lobe, my left tragus, and my right helix pierced. (I eventually want to get my rook and conch pierced on my ears; we'll see!). I normally wear tiny little "diamond" studs in each piercing, except for the bottom lobes. I usually wear very feminine, dangly earrings in those!

Yes, but I now only wear earrings in the 1 set of holes. I went through a punk-rock phase when I was younger, and pierced my ears in several places with a big safety pin. (Don't try this at home, kids! ) I've since let them close up.

When I was 13, Mom wouldn't let me get my ears pierced, "If God wanted you to have holes in your ears, you would've been born with them." (I resisted the impulse to tell her, "If God intended you to drink wine all the time, you would have been born with a wine glass in your hand.") Needless to say, that statement made a rebellious teenager pierce her own ears with a safety pin in her bedroom!

I always wear earrings; even if I wear no other jewelry. I feel naked without them. I usually wear danglers, but have an array of hoops and studs.

I have my ears pierced....a lot

I have 3 holes in each lobe, but have only been wearing studs in the 2nd and 3rd ones recently.

I have my rook and conch pierced on my left ear, with small barbells in them.

I have a tragus, industrial, and helix piercing in my right ear. Tragus and helix have rings, industrial is a barbell.
