tomcat

Ok, sorry, but forgive me: what does it mean when a cat starts to act like a "tomcat" I know it refers to the male. Do they become aggressive and start spraying?

LOL yeah you did to a certain degree. Now, not all males will show all the behavior but it's a much higher percentage. Male cats that are whole can start to become aggressive,spray,try to sneak out, and cry all the time. If they happen to get out and get a female all those things are increased and most become distant from their owners and tend to spend more time by themselves.
