Morning folks.

What do you do when you are nervous about something? Do you drink tea or maybe do some deep breathing? How do you cope with nerve wracking situations?

Freak out and lose a ton of weight without trying. I do not handle anxiety or nerves very well. If its nerves I start shaking like a leaf and feel like Im going to vomit. Anxiety..its an every day thing for me so that I handle like its a part of life but it does take a toll on my weight because it fluxuates drastically and makes getting dressed a daily hassle.

I am a MAJOR worrier, and I also find myself getting physically ill when under alot of stress. I have started using running as an outlet for the stress, and it has started working. I am also considering yoga, but it takes a long time. If I had that kind of time alone, I don't think I'd be so stressed!!

Most people I know use some kind of physical outlet. Kickboxing helped me years ago when I was going through a rough patch in my life.

If possible I go for a very long (five or so mile) walk, until I have to do the behavior that is causing me anxiety. If I can not walk, then I passe like a caged animal. I also stop eating until the stressful event has passed. Did I just make myself sound like animal or what ?

I'm a very nervous person in general, so this is kind of the norm for me. I usually just hope I get through whatever is making me feel that way fairly quickly.

I walk and talk, haha

I will spend hrs on the phone while pacing the floors. I will call anyone and everyone just to be able to talk, talk and talk....even if its about nothing. And if Im nervous i tend to say very random things

I used to be very bad but at some point I chilled out alot. My mom and I were waiting for tests to come back on my dad and she had enough nervousness for the entire family I think I just realized at some point I didn't want to be like that at the most minor stuff and sorta built off it. The bigger things a long hot shower works well.

I clean house when I'm upset or nervous. I clean, bake, cook, or sew to calm down. I don't know how to relax.

bad times = clean house
good times = messy house

I pray. I find that prayer works wonders and I calm right down. I find that leaving everything in Jesus's hands is best for all situations.

I'm a deep wreck technical scuba diver. And I get nervous before every big dive.

My solution is simple. I imagine myself lying on my bed, with my wife and cats around me. I breathe deeply and let the tension flood out of me.

Then I go diving
