I didn't want to take up too much room. But... siince you asked. LOL
My newest cat is Peanut Butter. Pound kitty that he is. He almost died when I brought him home for the Humane Society as a 4 mouth old kitten. We battled that cat cold/flu thing. Went all throught the house of eight cats. Lost one. Felt guilty for bring in the trouble.
Peanut though is a very happy cat and getting larger everyday. He is one exlarge kitty.
Sorry I can't get my pictures from my computer on here and I don't have a digital camera or phone.
Jill.

Wow! What a nice thing to say. Thank you.
Hope to be a good poster for you. I have been to quite a few forums, on different subjects and on cats. Never have I received such a well thought out repondance. Makes me think you all are very nice here.
I know I have to wait for posting photos and to get a avatar. I will wait for the buttons to appear in my controler panel.
In the mean time I want to introduce my oldest girl, Meuzette. I named her after the female chartacter on Gay Purrie. She was pretty when I found her in the parking lot. But long in the face and a messed up lower lip. I wanted to name her a name with dignity and grace. Since it appeared she had a tough life before.
She is a black and white long hair female. Pure breed of some kind, I don't know which. I had her fifteen years. So she is quite old. She likes to go outside. I don't like her going out there. But that is her privalige. To be honest, I didn't think she would live all that long and here we are going onto fifteen years. She is declawed in the front paws(found her like that) She caught birds, mice and baby rabbits. She must have lived on the streets for a while before I found her. I weaned her off fresh meat and on to a more nutrisous menu. One that didn't upset natures balance and my heart. Poor little dead animal.
These days no hunting, she just sits out in the sun on the porch. She loves that. I hope contented and happy.
Jill.

Willies story should be next. He is the next oldest. He lived on my sisters farm when he broke hisleft hind leg falling out of a loft in the barn. He wore a cast for most of his kitten life. He still sits with it sticking out.
Of caourse this pic doesn't show that.
Gosh darn it I'll have to go into photobucket again.
Be back

This is another of William as I sometimes call him. Plain brown cat. He should have a mature name. He was named by my neice. Willie, when he was a kitten.
Willie will answer to your call anywhere at anytime. He is ussually mellow but my black cat urks him with her growling at everybody and pounces on her. He defends the meek and the littles ones. The newcomers are always ushered in by him.
He is a kind soul.

If I make friends I will become one of those premium members. But no sense if I don't have any friends to go in there.
So far though you all been real nice.

Caz, He is the worse cat I have. He never goes in the litter pan. He has a problem with the box, litter. He is the reason I never married. My ex said it was him or the cat. I choose the cat.

You made the right choice!

Thank you for liking my choice.
I just couldn't turn in my cat into the Humane Society for any reason. Nor put them down just because they don't measure up. Who knows, maybe I wouldn't meet some standard one day either. What would my ex do to me?
Plus it is wrong. I feel responsable for all who cross my path. I just wish I could afford more. So I can help more cats. They are all worth loving.

Willies reaction when you say his name. He is on his old hammock. Too bad Peanut broke it. That cat brakes everything. I got it for my first cat, years ago.

This is my first cat. Jake
I was scared to death of him.
I never had a cat before.
Some lady had him and left him in a bathroom all the time. I went to a tuppeware party. Walked away with a cat. Not too many can do that. I just couldn't leave him there. She locked him in the bathroom because he bothered her too much.
Our first night, he came into bed and rubbed his face on my arm.
There is nothing wrong with you, I told him, you just need to be loved. I hugged him. That was it we were friends until his body finally gave out.
