Hello from the cat noob!

My name is Trish and I will admit that all my life I have been a dog person, until I met Shadow. She was my fiancee's parent's cat. She won my heart and even tho I am allergic to cats I risk it for her. She is the sweetest thing I have ever met! She was the kittin of a stray cat who loves to spend her days watching windows and chasing lasers. She secretly plays with my dogs but if you call attention or she catches you watching she tries to hide it. She has had a rough few years but I hope to give her a happy new home with myself and my 2 dogs.

There are a few steps you can take to help the allergies. One is wiping the cat's fur down every day or two with a wet washrag. Ask for more suggestions; I'm sure there are a number of them.

Has the whole ordeal with Shadow. Its a sad situation but I'm gunna try!

Mrblanche- luckily I'm not deathly allergic, I just get a little bit of itchy eyes if I forget to wash my hands after handling her directly. Occasionally a sneeze or two but nothing a tissue can't handle!

lol yea I know! My fiancee's parents were ready to take her to a pound and my grandma is at her wit's end with it all. But I am hoping for the best!
