My first spay/neuter clinic

I volunteered at my first feral spay/neuter clinic yesterday. 52 cats were brought in , one was too tiny to have surgery, but all the rest have now ended their days of reproducing. I was so happy to get to help, even though I hate seeing the kitties in the traps, I know that it is for their best and they will be all the healthier afterwards. There was one, that I would have loved to have made my #6 inside, beautiful little Siamese mix , but I keep reminding myself that I don't NEED another. And the family that trapped her had already found her a home. (she was just a kitten). Here is when she came from surgery...

That is wonderful! Thank you for sharing.

I have to take my semi-feral to be spayed tomorrow in a trap just like that. I'm so nervous, but I'm glad to hear other people's success stories.

AWW. That is a pretty little kitty and so happy she has a home to go to instead of back outside. Good for you helping out for such a great cause. : hugs:
