Sorry to have sort of fallen off the face of the earth for awhile there. I've been in a local production of "The Producers" and it's eaten most of my free time since I adopted McGee back in late July.
The most important bit of information is that I adopted another kitty on September 20. I will post pics in the appropriate thread, but I have to say she is one of the most gorgeous cats I have ever laid eyes on. She's a total sweetheart (at least to me -- McGee, not so much), too. The staff member who assisted me with her adoption said her previous owner surrendered her to the shelter because she kept clawing the furniture.
Well, their loss, and my bountiful gain.
She's all of 7 pounds, but the vet said that is her perfect, healthy weight. I named her Cosette for a few reasons. Les Mis my favorite musical ever, and Cosette is French for "tiny thing."
McGee and Cosette actually have made some leaps and bounds as far as getting used to one another. They shared the bed in close proximity this morning for awhile with only one hiss from Cosette.
Who knew having two would be such a blast?!
