Good morning everyone

Halloween is fast approaching.

Do you have any Halloween traditions? Any plans for this year?

This year, me and a bunch of my friends are going to get together and spend all day playing a board game called Zombies!!!. I discovered it a few years ago and it's become something of an addiction. It's so much fun!

sounds like a fun game!

my son and i dress up. this year we are going to a halloween party with my sister at my parents' country club. probably no trick or treating this year, i think next year he'll be more ready for that.

we have our decorations up already, as well as our halloween drinking cups and sippy cups (lol). Eventually i'd like to get nice halloween dishes but this year it wasn't in our budget. maybe i'll get them as a gift some christmas...

that's it, really
...OH and we eat lots of candy starting in september...

Our church has a Harvest Fest every year. We will probably be working one of the game booths. It is so fun!

I
to see all the little kids dressed up
, for Halloween. I also
how happy they are to have candy. Well who is not happy to have free candy
?

I go to the door dressed up as something or another. But I do not know what I am going to be this year
. I was thinking I was going to be the pretty green M&M.

I always go to the Halloween event at my favorite Goth/Industrial night club, The Chamber. Doesn't always fall on Halloween night however, only if Halloween is on the weekend.

My DH dresses up every year to pass out candy. He LOVES wizards, so I made him a wizard's robe probably 30 years ago, and that's what he wears every year. since he has long, gray hair, he lets it out of it's ponytail, puts a pair of reading glasses on the end of his nose, and voila, instant Dumbledore!
Oh, did I forget to mention, he also has a gray beard?

Just last night we were discussing a new wizard robe, because the one he has is made of heavy material, and since it's getting hotter and hotter later into the fall here, I bought some lighter weight fabric and am getting ready to sew him a new one.

I still haven't decided what I'm going to be for Halloween. I always dress up. Luna & Midnight are going to be pumpkins

No traditions. We are having a big bonfire on the 29th at our house. Food, alcohol, fun, and some costumes.
Can't wait!

No tradition. I'll probably be going to a friend's party. My costume this year will be a Legends of the Hidden Temple contestant. Go Silver Snakes!

We don't do much of anything....we don't have a lot of kids around here anymore. Rick will still buy a bit of candy; any excuse for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. And me, I always enjoy Almond Joys (sometimes I do feel like a nut!). We buy a bag of each and toss them in the freezer.

I don't know if anybody remembers them...I had posted pictures of my witch bottles collection last year. I bring boxes of witch bottles and decorations into work and decorate one of the corners in my office with a black lace cover. I make my own witch bottles and some of them are really nice. I also keep a witch bottle collection on the hutch in the kitchen for the month of October, but with Tabby learning how to jump to the hutch, I may pass this year and take them all to work.

Here... or There... Hmmm
Every year I take my nephews trick-or-treating, which is getting harding and harder since my oldest nephew is 20 now! (
) and yes, I took him and his girlfriend last year!
I've done it every year since they were born, and the year my mom died that was the last thing I did with the nephews, so I think I do it to keep my mom's memory alive. It's going to make me very sad when I don't get to do it anymore.

The facility where I train my dogs at is holding a Halloween party the week of Halloween this year, so I'll be dressing my pups up for that (should be fun!). On Halloween itself, I'm planning to have a little party at my house for my friends/family.
