This is just a rumor that I heard... (possible spoiler - highlight to read) the current cast is only signed for one season, and speculation is that - if it makes it to a second season - a new family will move in, kind of making the house the main character of the series.

Well now, that's pretty cool. (I deleted the spoiler because the text wasn't white anymore and you could read it in the quote.)

Will somebody do a favor for me please? Next week, please remind me that this show is on that night? Because I'd really like to watch it, but I know I'll forget about it. Thanks!

I'll try to remember to remind you.
But I would strongly advise you to watch the first episode before seeing the second or you're going to be completely lost. I know that it's On Demand, and maybe on the FX website too?

You should really watch the pilot 1st. It's being replayed again 12am Wednesday October 12 on FX.

that would be quite cool!

watched the second episode of Pan Am tonight, I'm still a bit dubious, but I'll give it at least another week, I do like the side plot of the spy stuff.

I don't have cable or anything I just have a cheap little digital antenna that only gets a few channels. I think like 7 but one of them is a spanish channel and since I can't speak spanish I pretty much don't count that as one. Then i get CBS and NBC and then the local "weather only" channel. If I want to spend an hour messing with the antenna, sometimes I can get ABC to show up. ABC rarely comes in good when I do find it. Anyways, my choice of shows are pretty slim but I do enjoy watching the Playboy Club and I try to watch episodes of PanAm on Hulu. Shows that I watch just because there's nothing else on and I hate a quiet apartment when I'm by myself are...well the detective/crime shows which pretty much start when the soaps end and lasts until the evening news comes on lol.

Just finished watching the first show of American Horror Story on On Demand. (I have off work today for the Columbus Day holidaym spent the morning shopping and came home and though I'd check the show out).

That episode rather gave me the creeps. Jessica Lange is really good as the neighbor.

Is the housekeeper the same actress who played the mother in Six Feet Under? She looks quite familiar and I can't seem to place her.

It's piqued my interest.....hope I remember on Wednesday night!!

Connie Brittain (not sure of the spelling)...wasn't she in Spin City? DH used to watch that show from time to time and I think I saw her in that.

It seems like most people know Connie Britton from Friday Night Lights (coach's wife maybe?). I never watched that show even though I heard a lot of good things about it.

Watched the 2nd episode of American Horror Story last night. I thought it was even better than the 1st episode

It was great!
I love seeing the beginning of the episodes and what has happened in the house's history. I hope we get a new one every week.

I had nothing to do on Wednesday, so I downloaded and watched American Horror Story. It's so creepy and I really like it. Loved the second episode too.

I didn't care for the second episode that much. I'm not into slasher stuff and that's pretty much what it reminded me of, although I understand where it came from. I finished the show, though, and am waiting for next week's episode.

the latest episode didn't scare me quite as much, but this business with the neighbor (Jessica Lange) is getting more and more peculiar!! I also like to see the things that happened in the house's history
Who thinks the realtor is part of all this somehow?

That makes sense. And, yes, Jessica Lange is positively creepy in this show.
