Chumley changed my screen orientation

Anyone know how to switch laptop screen orientation from right-to-left back to top-to-bottom? It's nearly impossible for me to use the mousepad LOL.

That has to be annoying!

I can't stand it when the kitties step on a weird combination on my keyboard that changes every setting I never knew existed on my computer.

This happens to me alot! Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Up. If that doesn't work, send me a PM and I'll try to help.

If you are using Windows 7 (it may also work on older versions too), right click the desktop, click on Screen Resolution, then under Orientation, change it back to landscape.

Stumpy once deleted 3 years worth of work from my work laptop. I left it on the table long enough to run to the bathroom. When I returned he was laying across the keyboard grinning at me. I had to turn it into a tech guy at work and tell him that "my dog ate my homework". They were unable to recover the data.

I have no idea how to fix your problem.

THANK YOU! I'm looking at things the right way again!

The CTRL+ALT+up worked! I do have Windows 2007, but the easy fix fixed it!

And Amy... just WOW. Thankfully something like that hasn't happened (yet, knock wood!!!). They just mess with the settings when they step on stuff - so far nothing actually lost or unable to be changed back.

Yep. I changed mine by mistake too. Turns out I accidentally hit CTL ALT and the down arrow key.

If you use CTL ALT and the up arrow key it will go back to viewing normally.
