Of course you were prepared

Oh so tiny, but look at that lovely round Brit head.
I've got a 3 day old singleton here who's 180 grams. I know someone who pulled a tiny kitten through, and after 4 or 5 months (she kept him) he was the same size as a regular cat.

Very relieved to hear Tiny boy is doing better each day. And tiny he is, oh my. Just so very precious. Keep the pictures coming, beautiful babies
And maybe the mix-up of coffee instead of milk did the trick
.. Hope he continues to thrive

So cute!!!

I'm glad to hear they're doing better, especially your tiny little boy.

Door Hinge is an awesome name, btw.

The little boy is now 130g, so slowly gaining more weight. The eye is fine too.
The little girl is also still gaining weight without assistance so I'm only bottle feeding the boy.

One of the kittens seems to have very vivid dreams which leads to him screaming bloody murder every now and then and scaring the ¤%/+"& out of me. I don't know which one though, because always when I check in to the nest they are just sleeping like nothing happened.

The little boy also has made it clear that I don't need an alarm clock to wake me to feed him: he will start meowing/screaming 30 minutes before my alarm goes off and as I mentioned in the first post, he is very loud!
My ex spends some time here and sleeps with earplugs, and even he wakes to the shouting. After I've fed the kitten he will purr and fall asleep on my hand.

He also seems to hate being bathed by Luna and lets everyone know he is displeased with the provided service..

I hope he keeps getting more weight and the eye issue was nothing serious. It bothers me though not to know what was behind it.

Door Hinge is an awesome name, btw.
I don't think I'll use that on his registration papers however...

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I'm so glad for the news! Sorry about the kitty with the bad dreams, and the... volume, of your little guy.
But so glad to hear the little ones are doing well!

Continued vibes!

I'm so glad to hear the little one is doing well! My first litter of kittens I ever rescued, the biggest one actually got an eye infection before his eyes were open. The vet just had me carefully put the tip of the terramycine in his eye and squeeze a tiny bit in and massage it gently to spread it. He has no problems from it, it cleared up fine. The only reason she could give me for the infection was a possible herpes strand but she didn't really know, and he did have a recurrence of it once while he was still really little, so maybe that is what it was. But that litter never got moms milk so he didn't have a normal kittens immune system, I bottle fed them from birth, because mom had to have an emergency c-section and her milk just never came in. Talk about jumping into the deep end for my first rescue. Sending positive vibes your way that this little one continues to grow!

I asked the vet about herpes too, but she said it was unlikely as all my cats are vaccinated, none of them has ever been sick and they don't go outside. (And I haven't even taken any of them to a show after I got Luna.) I did ask if it should be tested anyway but she didn't think it was necessary. Though if it comes back, then he will be tested.

I actually now think all of the kittens might be boys after all, but I'm still not sure...

I helped a friend sex her litter, we had a mix of boys and girls. Several weeks later the sex change fairy visited and we had all boys

Glad to hear the little one is slowly gaining

The boy has stated to catch up the little 'girl'.
They are all doing fine and I'll stop his eye medication tomorrow.
I have deeply fallen in love with the large shaded silver boy! He's so nice, calm and sounds like a quinea pig.

I added some fresh pics in to the 'fur pictures and videos'-section of the forum.
It's surprisingly hard to take good pics of kittens, they just won't stay still!

I know that feeling, most of my kitten pictures are of them sleeping. I found to capture that young adorableness I have just a ton of video. LOL

Catching up here
! YAY for the tiny boy
. I know it is bothering you as to what it was and why it occured. At least it sounds like he will be one healthy and strong little guy. I am now going over to Fur Pictures to check out the little bundles of joy
Continued good health for the kittens

They are all still doing fine.
They've just started to carefully taste solid foods and are trying to escape from the nest box during the night. The little boy has almost caught up the girl (yes, she is a girl
) in weight, but has clearly smaller body build.
If he makes it, he is very likely going to live with a good friend of mine to keep company for his french bulldog.

I think I'll go and add new pics.
