so i broke open a bag of greenis for cynder last night and noticed they were quite big anyways i broke one in half and gave it to him. he loves them by the way but he choked on the piece i gave him and promptly spit it out than god! I notice my cat does not chew anything that is hard, his kibble is small and i notice he just swallows it whole, and same with the greenies, i had to break them up into smaller pieces. why is this and is that normal or was it because he was taken away to young that he doesn't know how to eat properly?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Some cats chew, some don't! Our Spooky doesn't chew anything. I tried those huge dental treats for her - she licked at it and walked away.
Since Cynder won't chew, the best thing is to just not give her large pieces.
People who have switched to raw might have suggestions on how to get cats to chew, but as I don't plan to make that switch, I'm not worried about Spooky's lack of chewing.
