New Cat mommy (not really) :)

Hello!! My name is Lisa. I am a mommy to a new kitty, Abbie (14 weeks)...and we already had a cat, Allie (10 or 11 years). Abbie became a part of our family in late July. Allie is finally starting to play with her without trying to sink her teeth into the kitten's throat! Yes..we are making slow progress!
We are also the proud parents to Madison and Roxy (they are dogs...I know we can't say that on here...lol). They love the cats, and try to lick them and play with them every chance they get!

Wanted to introduce myself to the group, and look forward to sharing and getting information, and showing off my babies! Thanks!!

PS - I'm going to post a few pics of my cats. Maybe someone can help to identify the possible breed of my new kitten??

Welcome Lisa,

it somtimes takes a older cat a while to warm up to a younger one. Even if you do everything right to introduce them, cats are particular like that. I have just gotten my 1.5 year old male to leave my newly adopted 3 year old rescue alone long enough for her to pee in private LOL. They are both fixed but Jasper (the male) wants to play on his time scedual and Audrey dosn't know it yet.

Yes please post pictures we would love to see your babies!

I appreciate everyone's warm welcome!! I did post some pics of my cats in the picture part of the forums. I couldn't figure out how to actually post the pictures, but I posted the links to them. I'll have this site mastered after a month or so (considering I'm not on here everyday).

I am also a newbie here Lisa, and I am really surprised and thrilled at the friendliness of the staff and membership of this fine site.
