This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I've noticed that some cats develop skin spots (as people some times do) as they grow older. Have you tried cleaning your cat's ears? It could just be some dirty looking earwax. My advice would be to have her checked by a vet just in case. I think the worst it could be is skin cancer, I hope its not, but it could be. So take her in just to be sure.

Could've caught ear mites from somewhere, maybe? But usually when a cat has ear mites, it's all itchy and they keep scratching it. If they're just freckles, you're probably okay. Maybe clogged pores, like pimples on humans.
I guess skin cancer on cats would send up pretty much the same red flags that human skin cancer does--large, spreading, ragged edges, itchy or bleeding, etc.

Could be freckles. Is she a red girl?
If you are concerned, a trip to the vet can ease your worry. Or post a picture here for us to see them?
