I saw it last week in 3D and loved it just as much as I did when I was a kid.
I have more to say about it that I will post later, I just wanted to make the thread before I forget. :p

No, it didn't come out here. Neither did African cats in May.. sigh.

I saw it in 3D last week. It wasn't made for 3D. . .some of the scenes were awkward and jerky, so I don't know if it was worth paying the extra $ for 3D (the theater was also showing it in regular format). But it certainly was nice to see it in a theater again

I had to wear the glasses over my glasses, so at the beginning if what was in 3D was moving, it kinda had a double-image look to it, but once I got absorbed, my eyes adjusted and I didn't notice it anymore. I like that they didn't use it for 'in your face' effects except for the scene with pumba and the hyenas in the cave. That was funny. xD

I agree. Some of the scenes that had a lot of vibration going on, really made your eyes hurt. It was a little too much movement for the 3D to handle. I took my boyfriend's little sister to go see it and we both enjoyed it, though we both agreed it wasn't worth seeing it in 3D. We actually didn't pay anything to see it though, so we only wasted gas. My boyfriend works at the theatre so he got us free tickets :-)
