One Eye Dialated

Thread Starter
I have a 6 month old DSH. He is very active and just tonight for the first time I noticed his 1 eye is dilated and the other is not. He has had all his shots. Any ideas on what it can be & if there is anything I should do. =(

One eye dilated can mean some kind of head trauma. When this is seen in humans it is called a "Blown" pupil, and it requires immediate medical attention. It can be an eye anomaly, but I'd let a vet make that call. I would call a vet and see what he says. I'd call right away.

Good luck, and good vibes!!

reqchick is right. A dialated pupil is a sign of head trauma. He could have hit his head on something. Like resqchick said it could also be an eye issue but because of the possibility that it's a head injury he should really see a vet asap.

I hope you took your kitten to the vet. I hope he's ok
