Should I use it?

So I have a friend who gave me 2 boxes of special kitty clumping cat litter, which i don't use but i also don't want it to go to waste. the only thing is it's scented should i use it ore try to pass it on to someone else?

Since you expect this as a one time thing I would use either one of the exsisting litter boxes or buy one(family dollar or walmart will have one cheap enough) and fill it just with the free litter.

My cats are very used to switching litters so me I would use it in a heartbeat

Is it the green box? "Fresh Scent"? If so, the scent is so light I can't smell it. . .and the cats don't seem to mind either. The orange box ("citrus magic" scent) has a slightly stronger scent but still isn't very strong. I don't like the brown box litter (only used it once) so I forget what it smells like. At any rate, I don't think your cats would mind it too much if you want to use it. If you don't want to use it, I'm sure a shelter or another cat-owning friend would be able to use it.
