I have to admit, when watching the new episode, I got excited to see John Stamos walk through the door. I think he would have done good since his charm has turned into crude humor. He has more flare and personality than Kutcher. Oh well, a girl can dream.

I do not care for Ashton at all. I think he is annoying and I was disappointed in the first episode with him in it this last week. Sure, there were a couple of laughs but I doubt I will watch again...... I miss Charlie, he just made that show and I think it should be cancelled. I thought that anyway after they fired him.......

I got a bit excited to see him!!!! I thought it was some sort of twist and he would be joining the cast. No such luck

I watched it, I thought it was funny. Ashton will never be as funny as Charlie was, but so far it seems like something I will continue to watch.

I've always watched the show, since the first episode. The past couple of years I thought it was a little raunchy at times, and I have high hopes that it will become a little bit more 'tame' now. Seriously, bathroom humor gets a little old after a while.
I've never been a fan of Ashton, but he definitely is easy on the eyes. I thought he actually did ok. Loved seeing Thomas Gibson, too---another easy on the eyes kind of guy.
I've always thought Jon Cryer's character was vastly under-rated; I think my favorite character is actually Charlie and Alan's Mom. I just love her!

I was surprised at Ashton's performance. He seemed to revert back to his '70s show character at times but he was pretty good. I did enjoy the first part but I think the show could have a chance. It won't be as good as with CharlieSheen. Yeah he's a player but his strange behaviour was him coming down from the drugs. He was roasted the same night and seemed to be back to normal as opposed to the 'winning' guy on drugs. I am not saying he's a saint but drugs can mess you up. Sad that a Hollywood guy with seemingly everything like talent, money, family would feel the need to resort to drugs. But he is human...

I don't care for Ashton and he's worse with the Rachel cut and the facial hair. I don't like it when guys work out their upper body and not their lower body. His legs were chicken legs. Why do guys do that? I love a guy with nice legs! I love the mother too!

Anyway, I think the chemistry was good -hopefully it will continue as it is one of the very few shows I like to watch.

IMO, nice hair. I could do without the beard. I think he was trim and muscular all over. I didn't see any chicken legs!

I'm glad we don't all have the same taste in guys!

Carol, like I said in our e-mail, I loved the beginning (funeral, etc.), but just didn't care for Ashton. Maybe it'll take time to get used to him and again it all depends on the storyline. Alan is the best, Jake is getting older and isn't "cute" anymore. Berta is one of a kind. She could have her own show and it would be a riot! Charlie fit the role perfectly (even though I don't especially care for him), but Charlie Sheen was really just playing himself on the show!

I watched the Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Central and it was great. I think Charlie is trying to get his act together yet again, I will always root for him, he is the best. I think Two and a half Men has high ratings right now because of curiosity but don't think the show will last, I will be surprised if it does. Just ain't the same without Charlie.

Accidently caught the Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Central last night and it was a riot ... and for Paul and me to stay awake past 11 pm it "had" to be good. Charlie seems to be a little more humble. Maybe he will finally clean up his act. Anyway, really did enjoy the Roast.

I'll give it a few episodes before deciding whether or not to stop watching. Despite his faults and problems, Charlie Sheen was hilarious on the show and is going to be very hard to replace.

Personally, I don't think they should have tried to replace Charlie at all. They should have found a way to keep Alan in the house with Jake and Berta. Would still be funny with just them...Or even just cancel the show.

Oh well, I still have 8 seasons of the original to watch any time I please.

(Still sad John Stamos turned the part down
)
