Hi All, long story short, found a stray,he was beating up the neighborhood cats, paid for all shots and neutered, and so on, kept him in my basement for a week.. very lovable, with other cats no. so I found him a home I thought, and now this..

had to put some cream in his eyes, which was very hard to do, could not do it all the time, he faught, wish they made drops, anyways an old friend took him, I spent the money again, and got him all set up with what he needs, the first few days, he loved the cat, now I get a message, the cat won't stop yelling and is peeing in the house, he did not do that here, now he does not want him.. ? I still think the cats 3rd eye is showing in both eyes, maybe he is sick? what am I going to do, really do not want him back, which we will be starting over, when we had him a week, we put him upstairs now and then, put my cat in the bedroom, and this cat pounded on the freakin door, wanted to get her.. I don't know what to do.. the guy that took the cat, I wanted to come and see him, he said he has to get use to his new owner.. would rather not ok, now he says he does not want the cat becasue of crying and peeing, what would you do.. thanks sorry bout the spelling.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Unfortunately, but if his new owner doesn't want to manage a health problem, then unfortunately it's just not an appropriate home for a cat.

Other than taking him back, getting him fixed up and keeping him separated while looking for a new home, I don't know what to suggest.

He is still rather fresh áfter the neutering, right? So he does have still some hormones. Both wanting him beat up other cats, and tendencies for peeing in not appropriate places, especielly if stressed.
My guess is, his peeing could be he felt stressed, and toghether with the hormones...
Perhaps a hint the new owner wasnt appropriate for him?

Our resident boys, studs, were well behaving, not even spraying, but in periods of when especielly the older didnt feel well or feelt stressed, he did peeing... It become better after neutering yes.

Today I would try Feliway. But Feliway wasnt common these days 8 years ago.

Your guests third eyelid shows also there is something, it is not only stress. What I dont know. But something there is, almost surely. A little white in the corner is OK, but not clearly visible third eyelid.
I understand a vet had looked him over quite recently?

Good luck!

I talked to him last night, seams the cat wants to be outside, seamed alright with that, has a cat door for him.. and when he got home from work he was in the driveway, which is good. a vet did look hime over, and gave us the cream for his eyes the guy Ed said they look better. I mentioned this site, he said he will check it out for some advice, he likes that cat, he sleeps with him, he does try to take care of it.. he assured me, he does not abuse it, and will take care of it. thanks for the tips.

OH!!! I got confused for a minute
. I just posted about this on your other thread..... Didn't know you had two going
. Anyway, good news about Buddy. Ed sounds like he really does like Buddy and let's hope Buddy has a forever home. At least you can stay in contact and get reports. Hope his eye clears up quickly. There are also those drops (Gentimicin) which would be easier to apply than the ointment.
