Question of the day: Tues. Sept 20, 2011

Good morning,

I hope today finds you all happy and well

How many of you have considered plastic surgery? Could be just something minor like removing a mole/wrinkles, adjusting a nose, etc. or perhaps some liposuction, or whatever.

Do you think you will ever go through with it?

I have had a tummy tuck. When I lost a substantial amount of weight, I had a stomach like a deflated balloon. I went to the plastic surgeon and had the surgery completely covered by Medicare as he deemed it medically necessary due to the severity.

I have often considered other surgeries, as I have plenty of loose skin elsewhere on my body, wouldn't mind perkier breasts, etc. but truthfully I'm finally starting to become comfortable in my own skin, so I think I'll just stick with what I've got.

I have nothing AGAINST plastic surgery however. If it makes you feel better about yourself, why not?

I've had a breast reduction, does that count?

I would LOVE to have lots of stuff done....tummy, butt, legs, arms, face, boobs (again) LOL

But no I will never have it done, there's no way in this lifetime that I could afford it.

I would also love a new face, and new hair!

I would get a boob job. Not really for bigger boobs but to make them both the same size because I have an entire cup difference between the two and also after having two kids they have deflated some so it is for vanity reasons but not anything omg drastic take a look at these puppies kinda thing. Just to make me feel a little better about myself.

I would love to have a nose job, bust size increase, and have some moles removed. Yea that is all . I do not think any of this will happen in my life time, O well .

I would like to have a breast reduction. They're far too large and it's uncomfortable. If I find out how to make my insurance pay for it, I might go through with it someday. But I wouldn't consider any kind of appearance-altering cosmetic surgery. Besides something like a mole removal or whatever.

I would like to have a breast reduction someday. They are ok right now, but in my family they always get a lot bigger when pregnant and stay that way so I assume mine will too.

I wouldn't want to have anything else done.

Never have and would not except if medically needed. My cousin used to talk about all she wanted to fix and I got sick of hearing that list. Just not my style but if it works for you go for it!

I've often toyed around with the thought of a boob job - I just want them a little bit bigger ... a B or small C would have been nice. But I've also begun to grow comfortable with what I've got (and when I look around, the majority of pole fitness ladies have less than I do and are so confident and comfortable - oh and mine don't get in the way of the pole ). They've actually gotten a little bigger in the last 6-7 years I have this crazy thought that if I got an enlargement, Rob would be happier with them and then I'd be sad thinking he wasn't happy with *ME* before (Yes, I am an insane woman!) He jokes sometimes about how I should do it, but also always tells me I'm perfectly proportionate now.

Not sure I'll ever get anything done though. Mostly happy with everything else.

there's a mole on my neck I'd like to have removed.. mainly because my nieces keep pinching it, pointing it and searching for it when it's covered by my hair. getting on my nerves!! lol.

Other than that, I'd like a liposuction, but I don't think my weight is severe enough for such.

I'd love to get breast augmentation, but I'd never be able to afford it.
It's not that I want the girls bigger, however, it'd be really nice to be proportionate and have clothes fit me properly.

I'd also love to have a few tats, scars and stretch marks removed.

I have zero problem with plastic surgery as long as you do it for yourself and not someone else.

Maybe I might consider botox or something on my face, or if I get unhappy with my boobs if I am lucky enough to have a baby one day. I've been told that boobs can head south post baby! I used to want bigger boobs, but now I think they are awesome just as they are!

I´m afraid at the needles!...

I will admit that yes I have considered getting a few moles removed. They are for the most part not visible by anyone but I am very aware they are there. One on the back of my head, one on the back of my neck, one on my back, and one on my upper front neck which is probably the smallest. I have always had them but as they often do, they have grown, nothing to be concerned about health wise....... Just make me very self conscious.....

Never considered it. I am who I am and for that I'm grateful!

Honey, I'm 56 years old. If we started on surgery for this body of mine, we'd never finish! That being said, I would like to have a tummy tuck; as with Kailie, I lost a lot of weight and my tummy isn't what it could be. All the sit-ups, crunches, etc in the world won't change it either.

But you know what? Rick says it doesn't bother him and he loves me. I guess that's what really matters.
