Today is my babygirl Genever's 4th birthday!!!
We had a birthday party for her when she turned 2- that was so cool.
I made up little treat bags for people with candy and bubbles in them (like for kids parties), and decorated the room with purple and pink crepe paper, and she even got a few presents from friends who came (including a Broncos collar from a Raiders fan friend!!)
This birthday is much more low-key, but no less special! It's been a pretty quiet day so far, with a few treats now and then, and instead of just saying "No, you're not going out" as she sits at the back door whining, I took a break from my Notary training, put the harness on her and took her out back and I read for a while on the bench. She happily lounged in the shade.
She's got way more toys than she needs, but I did buy one little fuzzy stuffed toy thing at Petco near the check-outs (the bins with stuff for $1- but this was on clearance for 18 cents!!). And since I made a few catnip toys over the weekend to send to her cousin in England, I'll steal one for her too.
For treats I think she can have a bit of tuna, and some Catsip even though that's become a nightly treat, and maybe a bit of cheese or something, along with some Whisker Lickins and Greenies. And of course a few finger-licks of IPA. (she loves her hops!)
Anyway, Happy Birthday, my beautiful Genever! May you have many many more to come!!!
