So, I've got some stains under where my furniture used to be; they are around 6-8 months old and have never been touched. (I used to have rats.)

You can clearly see them without the blacklight, and when I do use the blacklight, they also show up as yellow spots. There are also white and orange spots, but I'm not sure what those are.

Now, my question is, when I used the enzyme cleaner, while it was still wet, it turned the carpet bright neon purple. I thought maybe it was because the carpet was just wet, but when I damped it with a rag, it didn't do the same thing. I thought it might be because of the ingredients of the cleaner, and after it dried, it would go away. Well, this morning I checked on it, and it is still bright purple. Not so much as yesterday, but still quite purple. Is that because it's still working on the stain even though it's dry? Is this normal? I thought after using an enzyme cleaner, you would know the carpet is clean because you would no longer see any spots with a blacklight?

Also, should I use Nok-Out on the residue/visible stain first before using the enzyme cleaner or does it not matter?
