Is just plain having them.

I love how wilbur curls up in my lap and goes to sleep. he likes it so much he'll meow loud until I let him up. It makes me stop working when he does it, but what could possibly be better than having your best friend demand that you hold him?

Even though Wessie would rather sleep in his box then on my lap anytime, it's still wonderful having him.

SO true. Holland was in my lap earlier curled up looking a lot like Wilbur (although it seems she takes up about half the space... ). She doesn't settle herself into my lap every day, so I cherish the times that she does. She purrs while I rub her chin, and eventually she'll bury her head into my tummy and "hug" me with her up-facing paws. There is really no better feeling.

Cats are fabulous companions,whether aloof, or demanding attention. No
home should be without one (or possibly 2-3 -4......)

I know i get a little goofy sometimes, but there are times I'm just releaxing and it's quiet, and I find myself just appreciating my cats lol. strange eh? screw it, I don't care.

And so very true! I remember when Caliper climbed into my lap one night while I was on the computer. First and only time she ever did that.

My 3 now LOVE to cuddle. Neko and Hoshi will lay next to me and tuck as closely as they can. Nero will just flat out lay on me wherever he can - on my head, feet, chest, face....

That picture is just Awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But as to the above, I find myself looking at my kitties sleeping, playing, or being happy with that same sense of appreciation and often times just total wonderment. The best part of having cats IS just having them!
