Hello! I have a general cat question. My cat is at least 15 years old. Over the past two months she has gone to the bathroom outside of the litter box. She peed on my bed, pooped outside my door, as well as in the hallway and has gone twice in front of her water dish.
She has usually been an independent cat, but this past week she’s been scaring me a little bit by constantly staring at me and has been constantly by my side. She has never acted this way before! She sleeps in my bed, lays on my bed when I’m there, follows me to the bathroom and is outside the door when I get out of the shower. She followed me into my dad’s room and layed near the door while I was in there. I left my dad’s room and went into my room and next thing you know, she followed me there as well and hopped up on the bed. Today I took a walk for 20 minutes and when I got back home she was at the stairs waiting for me. I was sick last weekend and in the hospital for two days and this seemed to start when I got back from the hospital. I guess it’s scaring me because I’ve heard the story about the cat that predicted deaths at the hospital. Do you know why she’s staring at me and following me? It seem to come out of nowhere and just recently started.
