Older spayed cat acting like she is in heat

I am new to the forum. I searched the post trying to find an answer to my question, but couldn't find anything that was similar.

I have an older cat, probably 10. I got her 8 years ago and they said she was 2 or 3. She was spayed then.

She has always been a talker, but much more vocal now.

She smells like she is in heat, she is doing all the 'in heat' behaviors.

Everything else about her is fine. She eats well, drinks well, etc.

But she is constant and it is driving me a bit nuts.

What could it possible be?

I know that adrenal disorders can cause sexual behaviors in neutered males. I'm not sure if it's the same in females, but I do think it's probably some kind of endocrine disorder. Have your vet run bloodwork.
