I'm quite worried about my cat, I don't think she likes me anymore?

I have a female cat who is about 2 years old. She's called Pansy. Recently she had kittens and we gave them away when they were old enough (we're gonna get her neutered now) this was yesterday, now she just keeps on walking around the house meowing as if shes calling for them. It's really heartbreaking. Will she be okay?

Also, I don't think she likes me anymore...Even before she had the kittens. She used to lay on my lap and let me pet her and be really purring and loving, but now it's just like I feed her and that's it. Sometimes she'll fall asleep on my bed with me but she'll always sleep at the foot of the bed, not next to my face like she used to. She wont let me pick her up and she doesn't show ANY affection unless she wants feeding. Any help?

Yes, the crying will settle down. She just lost her litter, she doesn't understand what happened to them, she's upset. Get her a new toy to play with and offer some tasty treats. She'll settle down. And, she may also be going into another heat cycle. When will she be spayed?

As for not being as loving....she just had a litter of kittens she had to care for and prepare for. Cut her a little slack. She is also maturing. I've noticed many of my cats aren't as affectionate during the 'teenage' years. They come back around. It's part of them growing into an adult.

Please get her spayed soon. That may also be a reason you have seen a change in her personality.

Everything will be ok, just let her have time to adjust.
