From time to time I would feed this stray cat. Sometimes she would sleep on my porch. Well about 6 weeks ago I found her and 4 kittens under my porch. I brought them inside because there are a lot of other stray animals in my area. everything seemed fine for a while except that the kittens would get a small eye cold here and there but I thought that was normal (never had kittens before). Then about a week ago I came home after a a weekend at my boyfriends and my mom told me one of the kittens isn't eating. That's when I went to the store and got some cat formula and tried to make it eat. The next day it died. The mother doesn't feed the other kittens anymore and they are sick. They have very bad eye colds and sneeze a lot. Sometimes their nose get so clogged that they can't breathe to well. I have no money for a vet and every place (no kill shelter) I call is full. Can someone help me find someone who can take them in and and take them to a vet or a place that will nurse them to health and adopt them out? I love in Marietta, GA (US).

Have you tried cat rescues in your area? If you have a facebook account there are many wonderful pages you can put your plea for help on and people help you look. Start by seeing if you can find a cat rescue in your areas page and post on there, also look for shelters pages and post there. You can put an ad on craigs list, I have had a friend take in and bottle feed orphaned kittens off of there. Sorry I live in NC, so I am not really much help.

Here is one I know about personally where you can post

Try putting some karo syrup in their mouth, or sugar water--it'll help them perk up a little, give them a little energy. Make sure they're nice and warm; chilled kittens won't eat. Then get some kitten milk into them--KMR; you can find it at a pet shop. Getting their noses unclogged will help a great deal--once they can breathe better and smell food, they might get their appetites back. Call the vet ASAP for advice. I know you don't have money, but some will take pity on you and at least refer you to a cat rescue or even give you a few tips.

Meantime, I know TCS has some kitten-rescue advice on the site.

Check this for more info--

I hope you find people to take these kits as soon as you can. In the meanwhile, just try to keep them alive as best you can.

Excellent advices by Callista. I want to add:

If you dont have Karo-syrup, honey water is even better than sugar water.
Or if can get dextrose ("winegrape-sugar").
But if you dont have any of these, common sugar will do.

If you have access to goat milk (some do have) you can use it instead of kmr.

Good luck!
